MAX Series Remote/Local Digital Temperature Sensor ICs
The MAX series of remote/local digital temperature sensor ICs measure the temperature of a remote sensor and its own package via a 2Wire serial interface that supports SMBus (System Management Bus). In addition, remote sensing can also measure the die temperature of ICs such as microprocessors that contain an on-chip, diode-connected transistor.

Typical applications include smart battery packs, desktop computers, notebooks, LAN servers, industrial control, multi-chip modules, test and measurement and central offic telecom equipment.
